I just refused to match a ridiculous price to remove a computer virus a “competitor” quoted a client. Why Do I Get So Much Repeat Business If I Don’t Have The Lowest Prices In Town?




1. Because I have a price structure that allows me to take the best possible care of my computer tutoring students and computer security clients including my remote computer clients http://www.computerhelp808.com/RemoteComputerSpywareNMaintenanceChecks.html




2. My computer clients can be frustrated human beings who cannot get into their computers. It’s my job to understand, empathize, assure them everything will be okay, then fix the problem.




3. People first, then money. This is a Biblical way of conducting business http://www.godsbusinessway.com/index.php/board,120.0.html If you take care of your clients, the money will take care of itself.  




Of Course I’ll Work Financially with Someone!




See rule 3. People first. I’ve helped people with their computers that were waiting on checks. I’ve removed computer viruses for homeless people. If someone is sincere and states they cannot afford me I make myself affordable!




Could I use my 30+ years of sales  http://SneakyAdTricks.com  to convince someone I am worth it and that they’ll probably not only have to pay the computer IT playing the price-war game and then pay me as well!?  I probably could, but I don’t for two reasons.




1. If a computer client is comfortable with the price I charge that computer client is more likely to call me back when he/she has another computer problem. Repeat business will make or break a business.




2. See rule 3! People first then money.




So Why Didn’t I Match The Price of My “Competitor”?




If I matched the price I could have showed the computer client what real quality service was and gotten some repeat business as well right? Sometimes yes and if a price isn’t too far off the mark like I said I’ll work with someone, but this computer virus http://inhomecomputerhelp.com/ComputerVirusRemovalInstructions.html  victim’s  only concern seemed to be the lower price. He even thought the guy must know what he was doing because he had a big ad in the yellow pages.




I could have explained to the computer client that big ads cost a lot of money. He called me from one of my two one line yellow page ads. He stated he didn’t mind having spyware in his computer, he just wanted to be able to get into it. At that point I tried to explain to him that spyware could include keystroke loggers which will record user names and passwords to everything he does online from email to banking.




Could you ever sense when someone could care less about even a serious issue such as this over the phone? Well, I did. There was simply no point to carry on the conversation. If the computer virus victim ends up getting the computer virus again (probably within 30 days) I’ll be happy to take care of hiim and remove the computer virus http://BlackBeltComputerVirusRemoval.com

The same reason I explained why I can offer the excellent computer services I do are the same reasons a price-war is bad for customers!

If a business has the lowest price structure they can manage to simply stay in business the business must continually flit from one customer to another. This causes poor service and an above average need to get new customers since the former customers are not happy with the business’s service.




2. My computer clients can be frustrated human beings who cannot get into their computers. It’s my job to understand, empathize, assure them everything will be okay, then fix the problem.




There is no time for empathy just do the job, get paid and get to the next cleint so the business depending on a low price structure can hopefully stay in business

Folks, my first year of business was very rough and I was constantly trying to make money. As my computer client base increased I was able to concentrate more on trying help people as opposed to make money. That’s when I experienced proof of the Biblical way of doing business. By putting people first I made more money for my business and family. IT VERY difficult to do this when a business is struggling year after year due to low of a price structure. This causes the clients the suffers as with the business constantly having to think about money instead of helping their client.




In Conclusion




No matter how big the ad
How long they’ve been in business
Whether or not they are the lowest price in town




You generally get what you pay for - and now you know why

Many of these big box electronic stores make more money by selling you a security or antivirus software package with your new computer whether it needs antivirus software or not!




Why Is This a Big Secret?




When the distributors discovered Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system was going to be released with good, built in antivirus software, they got upset. You see, the distributors make a lot of money getting companies such as Mcafee and Norton to buy contracts to have their antivirus software preinstalled. One big box electronic store makes a habit of selling  Kapersky http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-7176345-11193138 to all new computer users. Most computer users haven’t got a clue what comes with Windows 8, they rely on the honesty of the electronic store selling the computer users the antivirus software package.




NEVER ONCE have I heard anyone say,




“Now Windows 8 already comes with built in antivirus software, but you can buy this if you like.”




NO! All I ever hear them do is try to sell the antivirus package as though it was a must for protection of your Windows 8 computer!




To Activate Windows Defender in Windows 8




Uninstall the trial version for whatever antivirus software the distributor had contracted.


Restart the computer


Check the Action Center to make sure Windows Defender Activated.




That’s it!
