Your cloud backup such as Google Drive, Dropbox and if you’re using Office 365, OneDrive is NOT enough to keep your files safe and secure any longer! Solution 4 for Extra Cautious Do It Yourselfers (DIY)
I wrote a very unusual version of my BackupByRick program after my fellow computer experts tried to talk me out of it. You need an external hard drive for this version I suggest a minimum of two terabytes (2TB). This program was finally written after helping an attorney recover an important folder and files deleted from her computer full of client information. They weren’t in the trash or anywhere else on her computer. I was finally able to recover her folder and files through a feature in Office 365 online.Be aware both versions of BackupByRick sync to your computer. So if you delete a file in Documents, the next time you run BackupByRick it will also delete in the flash drive or external hard drive.
